NEWS UPDATES Can You Increase Your Bust Size Without Surgery? No, despite the adverts that tell you otherwise. While your breasts can change in size with the influence of hormones (for example you may notice changes at certain times of your menstrual cycle), the difference is not huge. |

| Pregnant women usually experience a more significant increase but these changes are only temporary. Don't be fooled by the adverts for creams, pills, potions or lotions that promise to increase breast sizes naturally. They simply do not work. The only way (without going under the surgeon's knife) to increase your bust size is to use a push-up or padded bra, this at least gives the appearance of a fuller chest. Calcium Supplement Dangers New research shows that calcium supplements can double your risk of having a heart attack, and should therefore be taken with 'caution'. This new study, carried out in Europe, looked at 24,000 participants and found mounting evidence to link calcium supplements, taken with our without vitamin D, with an increase in strokes, heart attacks and other cardiovascular problems. So how much of a difference are we talking about? Well, patients who took calcium supplements were more than 86 percent more likely to have a heart attack than those who didn't. This comes after years of doctors promoting calcium supplements to women to prevent osteoporosis (brittle bones). On the basis of this study, many doctors are now telling their patients to stop taking supplements but to rather find natural ways of absorbing calcium through their diet. The best sources are calcium are dairy products, canned fish like sardines or salmon, broccoli, kale, bok choy, almonds and Brazil nut; and oranges, apricots and dried figs. |
